Although the hype for this movie is huge, there is a chance that the R rating, and the 10 pm wednesday opening become roadblocks towards bigger numbers. I dont' know, though, if I was a theater owner, I sure as hell wouldn't be turning away flocks of kids from this one, it's capitalism baby, **** it give me the 8 bucks and enjoy the show, kid!
I don't have an account there, but I also like Eminem to win best actor at the MTV movie awards, so maybe I'll put some change on this as well... As far as I know, the MTV awards are just a popularity contest among the viewers, am I correct here? Em is a shoe-in. IMO, if it's soley judged on viewer votes.

Hold off a bit on the MTV Movie Awards... I did a big writeup for a group I'm on about them, and me and another guy did some research and found that a lot of the winners have to do with who is actually going to show up -- they dont want to give awards to no-shows. So as it approaches, and we find out who all will be there, I think the value plays will show themselves.

interesting.... You know, when I was watching the grammies, I thought I saw a pattern where the performers were awarded a grammy right after their performance, but it didn't hold true throughout the show. Probably just a coincidence.
